The Museum Weißenfels is undergoing a comprehensive transformation to meet current museological and societal demands.

As part of a feasibility study, Duncan McCauley carried out a detailed structural and condition analysis of the INTEX industrial heritage site in Weißenfels. Through extensive analysis of the requirements of the new museum and cultural centre  Duncan McCauley developed design guidelines for the new museum in Weissenfells. The entire process was actively shaped through participatory workshops together with museum staff and the broader public.
