January 2022, the building site begins! After the granting of the building permit and receiving confirmation from UNESCO Paris, the construction work for the conversion of the iconic water tank to create the new central museum entrance begins.

On 23rd June 2021, we will celebrate the opening of the Bavarian State Exhibition which shows the lives of the last monarchs in the period preceding the revolution of 1918.
Beginning in December 2020, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the life and times of Helmut Schmidt and demonstrate their own personal viewpoint by taking part in voting on Schmidt's central positions on themes that are still highly topical today.
Oktober 2020. Come to Trier in Juni 2022 to experience the answer to the question, what caused the Fall of the Roman Empire! Until then, we are looking forward to our first collaboration with the Rheinisches Landesmuseum.
August 2020: After a successful selection process, we are looking forward to the upcoming collaboration with the National Museum of Qatar for a special project to provide access for an international audience to the country's unique cultural heritage in Doha.

July 2020: Duncan McCauley is looking forward to designing the special exhibition "Catastrophe: What Comes After the End" at the German Film Museum in Frankfurt.
June 2020: Duncan McCauley has developed a new concept for the Historical Museum Basel up to the year 2030. In close collaboration with the museum, the project was finalised in the form of a strategy paper.
December 2019: Duncan McCauley has won the competition for the Bavarian State Exhibition 2021 on Herrenchiemsee with the title "Götterdämmerung II – The End of the Monarchy in Bavaria".
