The new permanent exhibition at the Staatliches Museum Schwerin opened on 30 November 2025. Duncan McCauley’s new concept for the exhibition staging and usage of digital media brings Old Masters into dialogue with contemporary positions. Clear spatial dramaturgy integrates the historic building with the presentation, improving orientation and creating and inclusive and inviting art experience.
