Scenography and Design in Frankfurt am Main, Deutsches Filminstitut, "KATASTROPHE. What Comes After the End?"

Visitors are immersed in a powerful installation that follows the dramatic arc of a disaster movie – from early warning signs and the moment of collapse to rescue strategies and potential new beginnings. On display are film excerpts, storyboards, set designs and historical movie posters, complemented by expert interviews and objects documenting real catastrophes. The special exhibition in Frankfurt am Main combines cinematic dramaturgy with scientific perspectives to create a compelling image of catastrophe as a cultural phenomenon.
