NS Documentation Vogelsang

Competition participation, 2011

The entire site is treated as part of the exhibition. The individual locations are linked by the recognisable visual language of the exhibition architecture, which thus serves as a guidance system. The architecture is determined by two design forms: a large glass wall and wedge-shaped elements. The wedge elements are found throughout the exhibition, yet are ordered differently in each space in line with the themes and the dramaturgy. Visitors thus experience differing spatial impressions and emotional effects, with the exhibition architecture itself becoming a didactic tool.
